Food situation of forest tribes and far away forest areas

 In Finland just about all areas are parts of the modern civiliced ways of living, having modern houses with electricity, running water and toilet, and a possibility to travel to shop or to other places via roads. Summer cottages often do not have these but may have some road near by and by one's car one can go to a shop and to other places, but summer cottages are not meant for living year around. 

But on the Russian side of Carelia there is told to be traditional living without these modern things, jyst forest and very poor countryside without roads, since very many are interested in the teaditional ways of living and especially in connection with Kalevala. So such an area is called an outdoors museum. For it to stay so it ought not ve modernused. So only those interested in such ways of living can luve or visit there. And since there are no roads or driving is not all8wed, what one would bring there food from shops or whatever, typically has to ve carried along, and so one cannot bring much food in addition to what one oneself consumes. And the area is scarcely populated bexause agriculture does not produce so well this far or that far north, and so it is called substience farming? And that is why people who like to live there eat very little, and so it isn't a place to travel in for other types of people. 

But such ways of living are liked by many living kn towns, so sone such summer cottage lufe may be widely spread in tge quite northern areas. It is not a way to earn a living by selling farming products or traditional handiworks, since transportation is lacking. On the other hand if one is worried about people tgere starving, it seems that there is some community economical etc aid available, but the likings of the locals are not so much toward town like food etc life, and so such ought to ve available in ways and amounts suited to upkeeping such lufe. But all food from shops and in normal town area amounts and qualitues woukd alter the population's type to handicraft makers etc, I guess.
