Hamburgers instead of presents & nuclear blast

I have a strong memory, but I do not remember it fully or so clearly, of (April in) spring 1984 when I was 12, we having been in our kutchen talking something, and someone said that someone wants to replace Santa Claus by hamburgers, either it was that Santa in Kirvatunturi had been maybe eaten and replaced by such a man, or then only that from niw on all Christmas presents would be replaced by hamburgers, that all boys thought hamburgers a good idea, also my brother. I was amazed, all had always liked having Christmas presents, and Santa Claus was a cultural tradition, so I said that "No way, you cannot replace Christmas present tradition by hamburgers, not even if all boys for some weird reason are for such an idea, would they want both a hamburger and ordinary oresents, abd all others too woukd get presents and maybe some of them too would lije a hamburger in addition. And besides, Christmas isn't in the spring but instead kn December." I think my fatger said something like me opposing changing Christmas presents to hamburgers. So there was some impression of some young men saying that they then take the task to their own hands. And very soon, half a minut maybe, there was on some mental side a news of the Sovjet Union blown up in nuclear blasts. I asked my father, how did it go so if it was about Santa in Finnush Lapplabd, and he naybe said the Sovjet wanted connect my view with this in case it might cure something, since times have changed, times have really changed. In the tv news there was about a Sovjet mussile found on lake Inari's ice cover, and there was some wondering of had Santa Claus been blown up by a nuclear blast and some magic of Christmas healed the nature already this well.

Oh, did some Westerners think that if Santa Claus of the Finnish Lappland was shot by some atheist Sovjet or Chinese missiles, they would revenge by shooting missiles to the Sovjet Union. But it isn't so, since Santa Claus is connected with the Finnish nature in Lappland and that with Finnish nature, culture, Kalevala, Christianity, Finnish civiliced wisdom, traditional ways of living, weather skills and wisdom of life, and such are similar to Russian culture on the same climate zone as Finland, they too value Kalevala, have similar weather skills, civiliced wisdom, climate connected views of individuality needed for weather skills, etc. So to safeguard Santa Claus one would not blow up the Sovjet Union, especially not in many places and not without a good reason to shoot jyst those types of people attacking.
