Instead of Halloween

 In the news there was about the American Halloween coming was it next week or when. It was as if some were very interested in bringing it to Finland, even though it is not any part of our traditions. It seems very unwise compared with the Finnish traditions. 

I guess it is a way of giving some social space for handicapped children, but at least for me it is outside of what I xan bear, what I feel comfortable with at all. The word "Halloween" seems to refer to the words "a hall", "a teen" and "to weep", which maybe relates to the scarceness of the views that time of ghe year. I have wondered quite much what it is why people want Halloween somewhere in the world, or talked about here where it feels unwise. Can it be that late autumn scenes of fallen leaves, maybe dead grasses somewhere, and especially the death or very difficult times of many insects are so difficult for some that they kind of lift such subjects to the talk of many in usa? Or is it the handicapped or the dangers of freezing injuries causing handicappedness that people from the tropics need to be reminded about. Where there us snow in the winter, it has traditionally been an absolute necessity that not any freezing injury for anyone ever, and so such people just died, and there surely is no such a celebration. 

But is it something else nasty that is wanted to talk about, like worms eating a corpse or worms in food, can it be that the worms ought to think of weather variatiobs and other lufe skills in the invironment too, instead of just living in the food. Or corpses? 

Is it about things used to wrong purposes or quality totally lacking where wisdom woukd have been needed? Rotten in this sense where someone not skilled, unmotivated, inclined toward crimes covered by lues, took over some job, task or reputation that was meant for the wise, for the highly skilled with beautiful values in the world. Or does someone want to know how to change from thinking to practical action, like if in yhinking it was good to know what the major phenomena of the subject thought about are like, but causing such is a different thing, abd even making an artwork like "collase" of pictures glued on a paper lacks such clear headedness of what was like what, why such exist, what those cause, what are those needed for or used to, what charachteristics such have, do they connect with slme values, goals, preferences, skill levels, certain parts of the world and lufe there or what. In a colkase one cannot see it, but a separate picture is often clear. 

Or is it the low skill level of many adults' lives so poor compared with school's basic civiliced wisdom?

If people in the tropics just want to know, is it so that things do not get rotten, when it is cold. In under 0C things freeze, so that is very dangerous, and there also is after some time, in less tgan a day, almost total lack of bacteria, which is difficult for most and unhealthy. 

But in cool, say under 20C but surely above 0C everywhere where one spends any time, it is some bacteria but so little that things do not get so easily rotten, especially not in the colder temperatures. On tge other hand many foreigners still suffer from a lack of bacteria, mostly because of wrong climate clothes, to which helps to spend some time under the thickest padded winter blanket. 

The main difference to tropics is tgat there is niwhere warm, abd especially not really warm or hot, because such heating costs overly much and would create too big temoerature differencies. But so slso the kbdoors are quite cool and outdoors eveb cooler or cold, and so one wears loose warm clothes, with warm air inside, but nowhere elsewhere is there any warmer air in a lasting way, and so there is very little bacteria, and no way to counteract cold or cool by so warm that things woukd get spoiled in such a temoerature. But things can get spoiked by a longer time in the ordinary room temperature or by cool+moisture or because of freezing.

Or does one need to be so reminded of how pretending to be someone else than what one is, is somehiw a poorer result than the person referred to oneself? Or do some so notice that following too much the personal estimates of others is very different from following civiluced values plus one's own personal views, like "It is good so, let it be" often does not suit the person so strongly commanded in the long run, if it is just some other person's view of one's own life.

27th of October 2024   I made an internet search of Halloween in Finland, and it says that Halloween is celebrated on the last day of October, i.e. 31st of October. But that in Finland it can ve celebrate also on the previous or next weekend if such suits better. 

Saturday 2nd of November 2024   is in Finland the yearly Memorial Day of the Deceased, which is important for those whose family relative has passed away that year, but for most it is a time to remember and respect and wish well for the numerous insects outdoors which have died of cool or of cold, or spend the winter dozing if they manage it somehow.
